Receipt Bot offers several features which enable users to speed up their document reviewing process. Whether it is changing and modifying the details or performing bulk actions on multiple documents. Receipt Bot helps to do it in a few clicks, increasing productivity and saving time for the users so they can focus on other tasks.

In this article, we will share the tips and tricks to review the extracted data quickly and efficiently:

Bulk edit purchase/sale invoices

With the ‘Bulk Edit’ option, you can edit the details of multiple documents with just a few clicks.

Steps to bulk edit your invoices

Step 1 – Select the documents you want to edit and click on the ‘Bulk Edit’ button.

Step 2 – Edit the changes you want to make.

Note: You can only bulk edit the processed documents. Editing is disabled for exported, approved, and processing documents.

Step 3 – Click on the ‘save’ button to save your changes.

You can edit the following fields through the Bulk Edit option

  • Contact
  • Record As
  • Payment Method
  • Category
  • VAT/GST
  • Location
  • Classes
  • Tracking Categories
  • Projects
  • Export Currency

You can perform several actions simultaneously on the batch of documents with a few clicks to save time and effort.

Steps to perform bulk actions on your documents

Step 1 – Navigate to the Purchase/Sale Invoice page.

Step 2 – Select the checkbox for the documents you want to perform bulk action.

Step 3 – Click the desired action button to perform the relevant action.

You can perform the following actions:

  • Export to accounting software
  • Bulk download
  • Reclassify
  • Transfer
  • Delete
Quick filters

You can apply quick filters in Purchase/Sale Invoices to organize your documents based on specific criteria. By applying these filters, you can gain a more precise overview of your invoices, quickly locate documents, and make informed decisions based on the filtered information.

Steps to apply filters in your documents

Step 1 – Navigate to the Purchase/Sale Invoices page.

Step 2 – Click the filter icon on the top right of your page.

Step 3 – Choose the filtering criteria according to your needs

The following options are available to filter your documents

  • Doc ID
  • Contact Name
  • Document Type
  • Record As
  • VAT Rate
  • Category
  • Payment Method
  • Transaction Currency
  • Description
  • Document Number
  • Document Date (Start and End)
  • Amount (Min to Max)

Step 4 – Click the Apply Filter icon.

Sorting in bank statements transactions

Receipt Bot lets you quickly analyze your bank statement’s extracted transactions by sorting each column. With the sorting feature, you can arrange transactions based on various criteria. This functionality lets you identify patterns, spot discrepancies, track expenses, and gain valuable insights into your financial activities.

Steps to apply sorting in bank statements

Step 1 – Navigate to the ‘Bank & Card Statements’ page.

Step 2 – Click the Document icon of the relevant document.

Step 3 – On the detail view, click a column to sort transactions in ascending or descending order for the relevant column.

Frequently asked questions


A: Unfortunately, Receipt Bot does not have an undo feature for bulk edits. However, you can manually revert the changes by individually editing each affected document.


A: You can customize the columns displayed on the Purchase/Sale Invoices page. Click on the Show/Hide Columns icon and choose the columns you want to be visible.


A: Yes, you can apply multiple filters simultaneously in the Receipt Bot. Select the desired filtering criteria from different fields, and the system will refine the document display based on the combined filters.


A: You can perform various bulk actions, including exporting to accounting software, bulk downloading, reclassifying, transferring, and deleting. Navigate to the Purchase/Sale Invoice page, select your documents, and click the desired action button.
