Remove Business & Delete Business Data

According to the requirements stated in the GDPR, a user can delete all data associated with a business. This process not only archives the information stored for that business but also the document uploaded to that business.

Please follow these steps to remove all data for a client or business in Receipt Bot.

Step 1 –  Select the Business Configuration option from the menu, and the “Business Details” page should open by default.

Step 2 – Click the Archive Business button and enter the text ‘Archive’ in the highlighted field.

Step 3 Click the “Delete Documents and Archive Data” button to complete the process.

Your business will be archived, and all associated documents and information will be deleted from the Receipt Bot, making them inaccessible.

Note: Deleting your business does not remove your Receipt Bot user account. You must delete your account separately. Please refer to the following article for details: Deleting a User Account from Receipt Bot.

Receipt Bot mobile apps do not have the feature to delete a business; therefore, please make use of the Receipt Bot web apps.
