We are registered for VAT in the United Kingdom; our VAT registration number is GB474687832. We issue VAT invoices to UK-based users. No VAT or GST is charged on invoices issued to users based in other countries.
Receipt Bot offers a flexible monthly subscription. The monthly subscription gives you certain document credits that are charged as you process the documents. Invoice/receipt processing costs one credit per document. Bank statements cost three credits per page.
All unused credits are carried forward upon subscription renewal, upgrade or downgrade, for up to six months on paid and active subscriptions.
Upon credits expiry the document processing is paused, and it resumes on the next billing date. If you have an urgent requirement and do not want to wait for the next billing date, you can renew your subscription at any time to resume processing.
Of course, you can. You can upgrade anytime during the trial period.
There is no minimum signup period obligation; you can cancel your subscription at any time. You can switch between plans (upgrade or downgrade) at any time too.
No, there are no differences between available functionality on the paid plans. All software features are available to the users on all paid subscriptions.
Of course, you can! When you can sign up to Receipt Bot, you sign up for a monthly subscription. However, you can cancel the subscription at any time. Please do not forget to cancel your subscription after downloading your data.
You can pick a plan that represents your most common data volume. As the document credits are carried forward up to six months, you do not lose any credits. If you have accumulated credits you can switch to a low cost plan or if you have run out of credits mid-month, you can switch to higher volume plans. That is what we mean by “flexible subscription”.

No, you do not necessarily need an accounting software to use Receipt Bot. You can use Receipt Bot as a standalone expense management app. You can also export the extracted data directly to accounting software such as Acxite, Xero, or QuickBooks Online, other online applications via API and to Excel for offline analysis.
Yes. You can subscribe to our Basic Plan, which is completely free and includes 10 document credits per month. This plan is ideal for freelancers or individuals with a small number of monthly transactions. The Basic Plan is available when you sign up through the Receipt Bot mobile app.
