Receipt-Bot takes care of data entry from all the accounting documents, such as invoices, receipts, bills, bank statements and credit card statements.
It works in 3 simple steps:

You upload all the scanned documents to the Receipt Bot. You can forward email bills to your dedicated Receipt Bot email or take pictures with our mobile app.
Receipt Bot sorts all the documents and extracts the required accounting information.
You review and approve entered data online and press export to record all the transactions in your cloud accounting system such as Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage Account. You can also export data to Excel or CSV formats.

You can upload different document types to Receipt Bot, like receipts, invoices, bank statements, or other business letters, e.g., HMRC letters, Supplier and employee contracts, quotations, etc. All these documents are tagged and converted to searchable format so that they are easily accessible when you need them.

Our top-quality OCR and ICR engines extract the data with high accuracy. It is also manually reviewed to ensure you get the best results.

There are multiple ways in which files can be uploaded to Receipt Bot.
Browse and upload files from your computer to our web app (website).
Upload from an Android or iOS device.
Forward emails to your dedicated email address.
Connect your Dropbox or G-Drive and upload files directly from there.

All uploaded documents are typically processed within hours of upload. While the actual turnaround is much faster, please allow up to 24 hours for document processing.

Receipt Bot is specifically designed for accountants and bookkeepers. All paid plans include an option to add unlimited clients and invite unlimited staff members. If you have a high document processing usage, you can connect with the customer support team via web chat, and we can design an enterprise plan based on your usage.

Receipt Bot uses machine learning to learn the categorisation of various expenses based on the set parameters. It learns from categories you assign to previous documents, and new receipts and expenses are categorised accordingly.

he application employs the highest level of SSL encryption, similar to that used by the banking industry, to ensure that all communications with our server are secure. Our application is hosted, and the data is stored on the UK servers of a leading global cloud services provider.

You don’t need any additional equipment. Receipt Bot can be accessed and utilised on a standard PC, tablet, or smartphone. No new equipment is needed as such. Receipt-Bot can be used from any standard PC, tablet and smartphone.

Receipt Bot is cloud-based, enabling you to access your documents from anywhere in the world. All you need is your PC/tablet/smartphone and an internet connection.

To share the data with your team and accountant, you can invite them to Receipt Bot using their email addresses without additional charges.

All the documents uploaded to Receipt Bot are stored as long as your package is active.

You will need to back up your data when you cancel your subscription. After your subscription expires, all data will be deleted within a month.

Receipt Bot is not accounting software in itself. It is a Data Entry Automation app that can extract data from bills, receipts and bank statements to your accounting software. It acts as a plugin for accounting software; in most cases, you will need to use accounting software as well. However, should you wish to maintain your accounts in Excel/CSV, you can also export all data in Excel/CSV.
